DESSERT MENU

CATALAN CUSTARD

Milk, egg yolk, cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon and lemon peel. Dessert tipical Catalan, served with caramel and  tub.  Eaten all year round, but especially for Saint Joseph.







SANT JORDI

Saint George cake is a typical rectangular sponge cake which is sliced into several thin layers that are spread with cream and truffle. It’s should be with caramel on top. This cake has got the pattern name of Catalonia.







CARQUINYOLI

Dry pastries typical of Catalonia made with Marcona almonds, sugar, eggs, flour and natural essences, you can be used with sweet wine.








BUNYOLS DE QUARESMA

Bunyols de vent or Puff sweet fritters is a typical Lent dish. The Lent period begins after carnival and has a duration of forty days. There are different kinds of fritters, the most popular is the puff variety, but also we can find fritters filled with cream, custard and chocolate.








COCA DE SANT JOAN

Saint John’s “coca”  is one of the most popular cake in Catalonia. It is eaten to celebrate the Night of Sant Joan. There are diferents types of “coques”: candied fruit,  custard, pine nuts, roasted pork and other combinations.
